Introduction

Best in Class Mentoring - helping those from less-advantaged backgrounds make better informed career decisions regarding financial and professional services firms

If you don't have access to contacts or family connections, how can you make the best informed career decisions? Why should you not have the same access as others? We provide access to industry specialist mentors to help those without a network. You can only make a difference if you understand the problem.

“Around half of all employees in financial and professional services are from non-professional backgrounds, defined as working class and intermediate backgrounds, these employees progress 25% slower than their peers.”
“A student from a less advantaged background who gains a first class degree from a leading university is less likely to secure a top job than a more advantaged student with a 2:2 degree”

The problem

In the UK today, where you start still all too often determines where you finish. Everyone deserves a fair shot in life and a chance to go as far as their hard work and talent can take them. A system where those from less advantaged backgrounds miss out on opportunities, experiences and have reduced chances of success.

Employees from non-professional backgrounds are also likely to get paid up to £17,500 less per year- with zero link to job performance.

Our solution

Our innovative Saas platform enables organisations and individuals to manage the full mentorship in a measurable and scalable way. All communication can be undertaken through the platform, and you can easily see what actions need to be taken and what further progress you can make with your mentee. This digital software solution offers a broad range of features including mentoring progress page goal tracking whilst keeping relationships private, a resource library, discussion forum, community analytics, events hosting and much more. The tools within the platform allow us to keep mentorships on track, and for mentors and mentees to monitor their progress over the 12 months and respond accordingly.
